February. Marking the earliest game thread in Cole On LA history.
My link to today's Coleonla is bad, so it's going to be quiet if everyone has the same problem.
dodgers give up four with two out in the ninth to the gnat. all tied at 8-8. in other words, oy.
bottom of the sixth, dodgers batting, leading 5-4. you can follow along by scrolling down on this page here.
must have fallen off from being squarely
planted in your backside all winter ~
watched some of the game yesterday &
didn't recognize any of the dodger players;
granted looking at the isotropes roster,
none of those aaa~hopefuls were in the lineup.
so, won't be wasting any time watching players like dallas mc pherson,
DESPERATELY hanging on to a career that has ended & that he NEVER had ~
nice outing for giants' edlefsen. he threw 15 pitches, all of three for strikes. three walks, two hits, two of his own runs and two of timah's.
dodgers score five in the second to lead 5-0. and of course, juan uribe grounds into a double play with the bases loaded.
juan uribe has to be lumped into the same biggest
mistake category as jason schmidt / darren dreifort /
j.d. drew / andrew jones / branch rickey NOT picking
off roberto clemente from his own a rule 5 draft ~
This thread is over, but I just wanted to say that I hate the Giants. Just wanted to put it out there...
Steve in North Hollywood
read that b.s. that justin sellers was throwing out there for getting arrested; he
stated that the cops in san fran had it out for him becuase he was a dodger;
there's news for sellers, he will NOT make a dodger roster & will
spend the rest of his pathetic so-called career in the minors ~
vinny's paying a nice tribute to him, though. but who knows, he might be fine by tomorrow.
